Abstract

In the implementation of a job, humans are one part of the organization that can affect its performance so that more or less will have an impact on the organization that is sheltering. All of this also affects the leadership style carried out. That is because that the leadership style is a reflection of the behavior displayed from one person to another person or another group as a led party. The discrepancy between theory with reality or implementation is the main problem in this study, because it will cause the motivation of the members to decline so that it will affect the productivity of the Unity of the Air Force, especially the Air Squadron 4 Wing 2 Lanud Abdulrachman Saleh Malang City.
This study has the aim to analyze the effect of leadership style on member performance, work motivation on member performance, the influence of leadership style and work motivation simultaneously on the work of members of the 4 Wing 2 Wing Air Squadron Corps 2 LANUD ABD. Saleh. The research method applied to this study is quantitative by applying regersi analysis through Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS version 25 software.
The results of the first study found that the leadership style did not have a significant effect on improving member performance. Second, it was found that work motivation was proven to be able to influence the improvement of members' performance. Third, it was found that the leadership style and work motivation together - were proven to have a positive and significant influence on improving the performance of members of the 4 Wing 2 Wing Squadron Corps 2 Lanud Abd Saleh Malang City.
