Abstract
Human resources are important actors or actors in agencies or organizations. Currently, technological advances that occur provide easy access for human resources in increasing insight, knowledge and skills. Therefore, currently human resources must have good performance in carrying out their duties and functions within an organization or government agency. Human resources have a role in their performance within the agency. Performance is a result or can be called the performance of an employee or employee. The performance of human resources itself becomes an important role in the running of government agencies. One of the factors that make the company's goals run smoothly is to measure employee performance. Each job has certain work standards or work dimensions, which are used to determine the most important elements of the job. Therefore, performance improvement needs to be carried out in order to produce maximum performance in government. The success of an agency can be achieved by improving employee performance. Performance improvement can be carried out by increasing the existing performance factors so that it can produce good performance achievements. . There are any efforts that are carried out, it can be mentioned that every year carried out are competency development as well as work discipline, creating a conducive work environment, The existence of promotions and salaries are also efforts that are carried out to improve employee performance in the Manpower Office, PM-PTSP. Efforts to improve this performance are needed in order to realize a good quality of administrative services at the Manpower Office, PM-PTSP. the existence of efforts to improve performance through programs and policies has an important role in the ongoing implementation of the government in the Manpower Office, PM-PTSP. Manpower, PM-PTSP certainly make efforts to improve performance in order to improve competency development for their employees. In the implementation of efforts to improve performance, of course there are also obstacles that must be faced. The performance of employees at the Manpower Office, PM-PTSP is generally good but there are still obstacles to be faced. In improving the performance of employees there are obstacles faced, among others, is the workload that is too high where the existing ASN has begun to decrease resulting in a high level of work frequency, the second is the competence of ASN that is set in an inappropriate position. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how efforts are made to improve employee performance at the Manpower Office, PM-PTSP City Poor. The benefit of this research is that the results of the research can be used as material in considering the company's decision making, especially regarding improving employee performance. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and analyzes data by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are efforts to improve existing performance at the Manpower Office, PM-PTSP Malang City, including increasing discipline, creating a conducive work environment, giving awards to employees, giving sanctions to employees, implementing competency development, as well as increasing salaries and performance allowances. In the implementation of these efforts, of course, there are supporting and inhibiting factors, but in general they are good and there are no serious problems or have a big impact.
