Abstract

In this case study, the Design thinking method is used to design the Dutamas Komputer service website. The problem of this research is the consumer’s need to buy goods at Dutamas Komputer. The purpose of this study is to use the design thinking process to create a UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) design for the web. This method allows for identifying user needs, generating creative ideas, and testing those ideas. Empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing are the five steps in the design thinking process. Each process is carried out based on user preferences and needs. The evaluation results show that the use of the design thinking method in the UI/UX design of the Dutamas Komputer service website can improve user engagement, user experience, and user suitability. The prototype design of the website received an average score of 92.625 on the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, indicating that the website has a high level of user suitability. The Dutamas Komputer service website must be continuously evaluated and customer feedback collected to ensure long-term success.
