Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of competency and work motivation on employee performance at the Modjopanggoong Tulungagung Sugar Factory. The population in this study consisted of 86 employees who worked at the Modjopanggoong Tulungagung Sugar Factory. The sampling method uses the Slovin formula. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. This type of research is quantitative research. The data used in this research is primary data. The primary data for this research was distributed through questionnaires to 86 employee respondents at the Modjopanggoong Tulungagung Sugar Factory which were measured using a Likert scale. The results of this research indicate that partially competency has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Modjopanggoong Tulungagung Sugar Factory employees. And partially, work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Modjopanggoong Tulungagung Sugar Factory employees. Simultaneously, competency and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Modjopanggoong Tulungagung Sugar Factory employees. The variable that has a more dominant influence on employee performance is the work motivation variable.
