Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of remuneration and communication climate on employee performance at the UPT Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jawa Timur di Malang. The research method used is a survey method and the type of research is quantitative exploratory and to provide a general description of respondents and quantitative analysis uses the multiple linear regression analysis method. The sample from this research was all 58 employees of the UPT Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jawa Timur di Malang. Data collection techniques for the two variables Remuneration, Communication Climate and Employee Performance use a questionnaire instrument using a Likert scale. The research results state that simultaneous testing shows that remuneration and communication climate have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the UPT Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jawa Timur di Malang with F count > F table, namely F count 29.357 > F table 3.1649 and partial testing. also shows that remuneration has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with T count > T table, namely T count 2.832 > T table 2.004 and the communication climate also has a positive and significant effect on the performance of UPT Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jawa Timur di Malang with T count > T The table is T Count 2.464 > T Table 2.004. The ability of the independent variable to explain the dependent variable is 0.499 or 49%, while the rest is explained by other factors that were not studied. The effective contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable partially. Variable X1 (Remuneration) has a more dominant influence than Variable.
