Abstract

This research is a quantitative type conducted at CV. Sumber Waras Sukses. The study aims to understand the influence of work-life balance and work environment on employee engagement through employee job satisfaction at CV. Sumber Waras Sukses.
The method of data collection used a questionnaire technique. The sampling technique used saturated sampling technique. As a result, the population and sampleare all employees of CV. Sumber Waras Sukses, totaling 95 people. Data testing technique in this research uses validity test analysis, reliability test, classical assumptiontest, and path analysis.
Based on the research results, the conclusions are obtained: (1) Work-life balancehas a direct influence on job satisfaction, evidenced by significance value reaching 0.00<0.05. (2) Work-life balance has a direct influence on employee engagement, evidencedby significance value reaching 0.00 <0.05. (3) Work environment does not have a direct influence on job satisfaction, because the significance value reflects 0.328> 0.05. (4) Work environment does not have a direct influence on employee engagement, because the significance value reflects 0.480> 0.05. (5) Job satisfaction does not affect employee engagement, because the significance value reflects 0.964> 0.05. (6) Work-life balance does not indirectly influence employee engagement through job satisfaction, asindicated by the z-value reaching 0.037 <0.05. (7) Work environment does not indirectly influence employee engagement through job satisfaction, as indicated by the z-value reaching 0.037 <0.05.
