Abstract

Product quality is the condition of a product that shows its ability to meet needs. In this increasingly fierce global competition, smart companies must carry out strategies to survive in this competition, one of these strategies is to improve the quality of raw materials because they greatly affect the production process. So it takes a policy that is usually taken by companies in maintaining and improving product quality is to carry out quality control activities on products. Quality control is needed in the company because it can reduce the amount of product damage. Based on the explanation above, this study aims to determine the effect of quality control, raw material quality, and product quality on product quality at Moshi-Moshi Ramen in Malang City.
The type of research used is explanatory research with a questionnaire distribution method. The sample in this study was 35 respondents and data processing used the SPSS computer program. Analysis of the data used in this study is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, and analysis of the coefficient of determination. The variables used in this study are the dependent variable of product quality, and the independent variables are quality control, quality of raw materials and production processes. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables and the rope have no effect simultaneously. Partially it was shown that the variable quality of raw materials and production processes had a positive and significant effect on product quality variables, then the quality control variable had no positive effect on product quality at Moshi-Moshi Ramen in Malang City.
