Abstract
This research aims to determine training and soft skills on work readiness ofparticipants at UPT BLK Tulungagung. In this research, researchers used quantitativemethods by processing data through questionnaires given to all participants at UPT BLKTulungagung. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling with a total of 48respondents who were participants. The data collection technique uses a questionnairedistributed via Google Form. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques were processed usingthe SPSS version 25 application. This analysis includes descriptive analysis tests, multiplelinear regression tests, validity tests, reliability tests, multicollinearity tests,heteroscedasticity tests, normality tests, t tests, and F tests.The results of data analysis show that training and soft skills simultaneously havea significant and positive effect on work readiness of participants at UPT BLK Tulungagung.Training has a significant and positive effect on work readiness because the significantvalue is 0.001 < 0.05 with a calculated t value of 3.476 > 2.014 t table. Meanwhile, softskills have a significant and positive effect on work readiness because the significant valueis 0.022 < 0.05 with a calculated t value of 2.376 > 2.014 t table. Training has a dominantinfluence on work readiness, meaning that the thing that can increase work readinessamong participants at UPT BLK Tulungagung is by improving better training.
