Abstract

Many people use information technology to record transactions in their business processes. Recording sales transactions that were previously done manually can be computerized with a computer. However, at Mami Michiel's Café, the transaction recording still uses a manual method where the transaction system uses paper and a book, such as recording customer data, menu orders to reports using paper or recorded in a book. To increase the efficiency of recording transactions, a simple program or application will be created using one of the software that can process databases, namely Microsoft Access. The system development method used is the waterfall model which uses a software flow approach starting from analysis, design, implementation, testing, and supporting stages. Based on the test results using the black box method with the equivalence partitions technique, the application for recording sales transactions has achieved the expected goals. Based on the results of system analysis using the SUS method, it obtained an average value of 75, with the Adjective rating criteria being Good, with a Grade Scale value of C. From these results it can be concluded that the system can be accepted and used by cashiers and business owners.
