Abstract

The abstract presents the background, problem statements, objectives, and scope of implementing user interface (UI) design using design thinking method for an internet service provider. With the increasing demand for internet services,
competition among providers becomes fierce. Therefore, a good UI design is crucial to provide the best user experience, increase user engagement, and reduce frustration levels. The research will be conducted in three main stages: information
gathering and understanding, concept development, and testing and evaluation. The objectives of the research are to develop an innovative solution that meets user needs and preferences and to contribute to the development of responsive information systems. The problem statements include the factors influencing the decline in the number of Kampung.net users, challenges in building a responsive
and user-friendly UI design, and ways to optimize UI design on the website to always support a better user experience. The research is expected to improve user experience and customer satisfaction with the internet service provider's website. The scope of the research is limited to analyzing and evaluating the current UI design and developing a new UI design for the Kampung.net website using design thinking methods
