Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between husband's social support and work-family conflict in working women. This research method uses quantitative correlation, with a sample of 384 respondents. Sampling determination uses Snowball Sampling. The measuring instruments used are the work-family conflict scale (α = 0.823) and the Receipt of Spousal Support Scale (α = 0.789). The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression. The results of the data analysis show a regression value of β = (.463), p = 0.030 <0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between husband's social support and work-family conflict in working women. The implication of this study is to broaden the understanding of the relationship between husband's social support and work-family conflict, where high husband's social support does not always have an impact on decreasing work-family conflict.
