Abstract
This study aims to analyze the differences in job satisfaction based on job type, comparing permanent employees and freelance workers. The research adopts a quantitative approach with an unlimited population, and a sample of 200 respondents. The research instrument consists of a Job Satisfaction Scale (MSQ) with a reliability score of 0.958. Normality testing revealed that the data for both variables were not normally distributed, with a significance value of 0.000 (p > 0.05). The analysis of homogeneity of job satisfaction between permanent employees and freelance workers showed a homogeneity test result of 0.515, indicating a p value > 0.05, meaning the data is homogeneous. Hypothesis testing analysis yielded a t-value (df) of 12.329, p < 0.01. These findings confirm that there is a significant difference in job satisfaction between permanent employees and freelance workers.
