Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work conflict on work stress experienced by desk collections in Malang City. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods, with a total of 100 respondents. Sampling used a simple random sampling technique. The measuring instruments used are the Job Stress Scale (α 0.847) and the Work Conflict scale (α 0.969). The data analysis technique uses simple regression analysis. The results of data analysis show an R square value of 0.308 with a significance of .001 < .05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between work conflict and work stress, work conflict has an effect of 30.8% on work stress. The direction of the relationship between the two variables is positive, meaning that the higher the work conflict, the higher the work stress. This research can provide information that work conflict can predict high and low work stress among desk collection workers in Malang city.
