Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of spiritual intelligence on academic stress in university students in Malang City. This study utilized a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The total number of respondents in this study was 400, selected using accidental sampling techniques. The instruments used were the spiritual intelligence scale (α = 0.721) and the academic stress scale (α = 0.800). Simple linear regression was used for data analysis, with the aid of SPSS version 25. The data analysis results showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) with an R² value of 0.317. "Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of spiritual intelligence on academic stress among students, with the direction of the influence being positive. This finding indicates the need for alternative approaches and additional psychological variables, as spiritual intelligence is not the sole determinant of academic stress.
