Abstract

The young adult phase triggers feelings of helplessness and mental exhaustion, leading to stress. This study aims to examine the relationship between resilience and the quarter life crisis in young adult women. The study employs a quantitative approach. The population consists of young adult women aged 20-29 years, with a sample size of 400 young adult women. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling. Data collection was conducted using a resilience scale and a quarter life crisis scale in the form of a Likert scale. The analysis results show a significance value of 0.00, which is smaller than 0.05, with a negative correlation. Thus, there is a relationship between resilience and the quarter life crisis. The greater the resilience, the lower the level of the quarter-life crisis, and vice versa. Based on the R² value of 0.13, it indicates that resilience influences 13% of the quarter life crisis, while the remaining 87% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. This study highlights the importance of resilience but has not explored the influence of social and cultural values or the subjective experiences of women in facing the quarter life crisis and building resilience. Therefore, further research involving more diverse variables and methods is needed to provide a deeper understanding.
