Abstract
College students are faced with many academic and non-academic tasks that often trigger procrastination behaviour. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-compassion and academic procrastination in double degree students at Universitas Merdeka Malang. This research method uses a quantitative research approach. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, involving the entire population of 122 students as research samples. The Pearson correlation test shows a significant negative relationship between self-compassion and academic procrastination, with a correlation value of -0.430 and a significance of 0.000. This means that the higher the level of self-compassion, the lower the level of academic procrastination. Students' self-compassion was generally in the moderate category (88%), while academic procrastination was also in the moderate category (72%). Both variables showed high reliability with Cronbach's Alpha above 0.8. These findings are consistent with previous research and suggest that increasing self-compassion can reduce academic procrastination among double degree students.
