Abstract
Kindergarten teachers' insecurities with their abilities often cause kindergarten teachers to experience problems in achieving their goals. This disbelief is closely related to self-efficacy which can be interpreted as a person's belief in planning the actions needed to achieve specific goals. This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on the work stress of kindergarten teachers. This study used a sample of 100 kindergarten teachers who were still actively teaching. The data collection technique uses a work-stress and self-efficacy scales distributed to the respondents. Based on the test results through simple linear regression analysis, it is known that the resulting significance value has a smaller value than the probability value, namely 0.000 <0.05, with an R-value of 0.767 and an R Square value of 0.589. so it can be concluded that self-efficacy affects work stress by 58.9% which is the higher the self-efficacy, the lower the work stress, and vice versa, if self-efficacy is low, the resulting work stress is high.
