Abstract
The tendency of anxiety experienced by students is caused by several factors, one of which is low career maturity (Sari, 2010). The impact of low career maturity is the quality of work that is not optimal because of self quality and self-potential that cannot meet the needs in the desired field of work. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between career maturity and the tendency to worry about future careers among students in Malang City. This research is a non experimental quantitative. The research sample was 100 students studying in Malang City. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, with a career maturity scale (63 valid) and anxiety tendency scale (59 valid), in the form of a Likert scale. The results of the hypothesis using product moment correlation analysis, get a Pearson correlation value of -0.708. It was concluded that career maturity and anxiety tendencies have a significant and negative relationship, where the higher the level of career maturity, the lower the level of anxiety tendencies.
