Abstract

Technology is one of the important media in education hybrid in junior high school students in supporting the learning system. The use of technology in adolescents can be used as a solution as well as the risk of unlimited control over its use. So vulnerable for teenagers to experience technostress. Technostress is stress caused by the use of information technology in daily activities, including in the context of education. This study aims to determine the effect of parental social support on technostress in junior high school students in Malang City. This research is a quantitative study using simple linear regression analysis. The research instrument used in this study is the parental social support scale and the scale technostress. The data collection used in this study used a questionnaire given to a sample in the study population of 269 Junior High School students in Malang City using the method accidental sampling. The results showed that there was a significant influence between parental social support on technostress by 52.4%.
