Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and learning motivation among students at SMK Tumapel Malang. The background of this research is based on the low learning motivation observed in students, which can adversely affect their academic performance. The research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consists of 97 students, and data collection was conducted using a questionnaire measuring learning motivation and social support. The data analysis results indicate a significant positive relationship between social support and learning motivation, with a regression coefficient of 0.423 and a significance value of p < 0.01. These findings suggest that higher levels of social support are associated with increased student learning motivation. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of social support in enhancing students' learning motivation, which can serve as a consideration for teachers and parents in supporting the educational process.
