Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of self-control on the consumptive behavior of adolescents who use the Spaylater feature. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were adolescents who used the Spaylater feature, whose numbers are not known for certain (infinite population). The sample taken was 140 adolescent respondents who used the Spaylater feature. This sampling uses accidental sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using a research questionnaire consisting of a consumption behavior scale and a self-control scale with a Likert scale model. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significant value of 0.00 0.05 shows that self-control has a significant effect on consumptive behavior. Based on the data from this study, the coefficient of determinants of the self-control variable (R-Square) for the consumptive behavior of adolescents using Spaylater is 0.47. This shows that self-control has an influence of 47% on the consumptive behavior of adolescents who use Spaylater, while the rest is influenced by other factors not mentioned in this study.
