Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and resilience among female university students. A quantitative approach with a correlational method was used. The sample consisted of 400 female students selected through accidental sampling. The instruments used in this study were a resilience scale (α = 0.891) and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) (α = 0.911). Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between social support and resilience, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.211. This indicates that social support contributes 21.1% to the resilience of female students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the higher the social support received, the higher the level of resilience among female students. These findings highlight the crucial role of the social environment in enhancing the psychological resilience of female university students.
