Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work-life balance and turnover intention among employees at Omah Datok Kopitiam. This research employed a quantitative correlational method with 36 employees as respondents. Sampling was conducted using a saturated sampling technique. The measuring instruments used were the work-life balance scale (α = 0.642) and the turnover intention scale (α = 0.877). Simple linear regression was used for data analysis. The analysis showed a significance value of 0.001 (p>0.05) and a regression coefficient of -1.230 indicating a negative relationship between work- life balance and turnover intention among employees at Omah Datok Kopitiam. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between work-life balance and turnover intention among employees at Omah Datok Kopitiam. This means that the higher the work-life balance, the lower the turnover intention, and vice versa. This study provides insight into the importance of maintaining a high level of work-life balance to prevent turnover intention.
