Abstract

The increasing participation of women in the public sphere has led to a rise in the work family experienced by women with families who choose to pursue their careers. The inability to fulfill multiple roles in a balanced manner often leads to conflict, stemming from contradictions and demands between different roles. This work family conflict can be alleviated when women maintain good psychological well-being. This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological well-being and work family conflict of female lecturers with families. This study population comprised female lectures. The study focuses on female lecturers with family, consisting of husband and children, totaling 96 respondents.The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The data collection technique uses a work family conflict scale and a psychological well-being scale. Data analysis involved utilizing Pearson product-moment correlation statistical analysis with the assistance of SPSS. The analysis indicated a significant result 0,000 (p<0,05), so the hypothesis was acceptance, with a correlation coefficient of -0,491, suggesting a negative association between psychological well-being and work family conflict, that higher psychological well-being is associated with lower work family conflict.
