Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between work-life balance and job satisfaction that occurs in generation Z. This research method uses explanatory research using a quantitative approach with simple regression analysis techniques, with a total of 109 respondents. Sampling determination uses non-probability sampling techniques along with accidental sampling. The measuring tools used are work life balance and job satisfaction scales. The data analysis technique uses simple regression analysis with the help of SPSS statistical software. The results of the data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient value was 0.000 < 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the work life balance variable and job satisfaction. Work life balance has an effect of 70.2% on job satisfaction in generation Z. The direction of the relationship between the two variables is positive, meaning the higher the work life balance then the higher job satisfaction will be in generation Z.
