Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and work stress in private PPL. This research method uses quantitative. Determination of sampling using saturated sampling techniques using the entire population of 35 PPL. The data collection tool in this study used a Likert scale with a questionnaire survey method. In this study, the work stress scale and workload scale were determined from Salsabila (2019). Based on simple linear data analysis, it shows that there is a relationship between workload and work stress, in the sense that the higher the workload, the higher the work stress of 77%. The results of the hypothesis are accepted with a sig. value of 0.001 <0.05. This study can provide information to PPL that workload is one of the causes of individuals experiencing work stress. Therefore, for PPL who want to overcome the problem of work stress caused by the workload that is felt to be high, it is hoped that they can change the perception of workload in a more positive direction. That way, the more positive the perception of the workload that is felt, the lower the work stress experienced.
