Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and workfamily balance. Work-family balance is an individual's perception of balance in carrying out the role as a worker and family member. The method used was quantitative with a correlational approach, involving 500 married women workers in the formal sector, who were selected by accidental sampling. Data were collected through a family support scale and a work-family balance scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression analysis technique. The results showed a significant positive relationship between family support and work-family balance, with an F-value of 24.315 and a p-value of 0.000, indicating a significant regression model. Although the coefficient of determination (R²) was only 4.7%, it showed a small variation in work-family balance that could be explained by family support. The majority of respondents felt support and balance in the moderate category, reflecting sufficient support to manage their roles. This study provides insight into the development of more holistic psychological support programs and contributes to theories related to women's participation in the workforce.
