Abstract

Reduced prosocial behavior among teenagers is indicated by a lack of helping, sharing and collaborating behavior between teenagers, other individuals, parents and the community. When compared with the previous year, in 2017 prosocial behavior decreased both globally and in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the relationship between Self-Concept and Prosocial Behavior of class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Sumberpucung. The research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were all class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Sumberpucung. The sample criteria used were class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Sumberpucung. The number of samples used was 93 students. This research uses data analysis with simple linear regression techniques. Before carrying out a simple linear regression test, the researcher first tested the assumptions by carrying out a normality test and a linearity test. Based on data categorization, the results showed that class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Sumberpucung had high self-concept and prosocial behavior. The results of the simple linear regression test show a significance value for the Anova test (F) of 0.00 <0.05, meaning that there is a significant relationship between the self- concept variable and the prosocial behavior variable.
