Abstract

Individuals with an age range of 18-29 years are prone to facing critical emotional responses, this phase is often known as the quarter life crisis phase. Students with high self-efficacy will achieve the desired life satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is an effect of self-efficacy on the life satisfaction of students who experience the quarter life crisis phase at Merdeka University Malang. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used purposive
sampling and obtained a sample of 100 final year students who were in the quarter life crisis phase at Merdeka University Malang. The measuring instrument uses a self-efficacy scale and a life satisfaction scale. The results of the hypothesis test show that there is a significant influence of self-efficacy on life satisfaction, amounting to 0.000 with a sig value. p <0.05 and obtained a coefficient of determination (R square) for the effect of self-efficacy of 72.6% on the life satisfaction of students who
are in the quarter life crisis phase.
