Abstract
The World Health Organization has declared the Corona virus (Covid-19) a pandemic (WHO). This condition affects daily activities, making the general public restless and worried, particularly overseas students who are separated from their family. Changes in learning patterns from face-to-face lectures to distance or online lectures, as well as government rules requiring online or distance lectures, add to the strain for international students. This could have a negative impact on the kids' subjective well-being. One of the things that prevents a person from experiencing low subjective well-being is the existence of social support, especially social support from family. This study aims to answer Questions about the Effect of Family Social Support on the Subjective Well-Being of Overseas Students at the Merdeka University, Malang. This study uses a quantitative method. The data analysis technique in this study used simple linear regression analysis . Hypothesis testing shows the value of correlation or relationship (R) that is equal to 0.945 obtained from the coefficient (R Square) of 0.894. Based on the analysis and results of research data The conclusion is that there is an influence of family social support on subjective well-being in overseas students outside Java. Family social support has an influence of 89.4% on subjective well- being and the remaining 10.6% is influenced by other factors.
