Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the meaning of life and the psychological well-being of health workers at Grati Hospital Pasuruan during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of Pearson's Product Momet correlation. The population in this study were 164 health workers working at Grati Hospital, Pasuruan Regency, consisting of 18 specialists, 7 general practitioners, 2 dentists, 93 nurses and 44 midwives. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely this study used a sample of 31 health workers, including 27 nurses, 1 midwife and 3 doctors. Collecting data using a psychological well-being scale consisting of 36 items with a reliability coefficient of 0.755, a meaningfulness scale of life consisting of 42 items with a reliability coefficient of 0.747. Correlation results show that there is no relationship between the meaning of life and psychological well-being with a correlation value of 0.050 with a significance value of 0.789.
