Abstract
The online an item or product has become increasingly popular. Products or goods that are traded through online shops (online shops) are able to make every individual interested and interested in buying them. Impulsive buying is an impulse that exists within individuals to buy goods accidentally. Self-control is a person's expertise or skill towards each of his physical and psychological mechanisms in order to regulate emotions and can regulate negative responses into positive responses. self-control is one of the conditions that can make individuals become actors in impulsive buying. This study aims to determine the effect of self control on impulsive buying online on students in Malang City. The research method used is quantitative. The population used is students in the city of Malang. The sample used was 100 people aged 17-25 years.sampling technique used porpusive sampling technique. The data collection technique used self control and impulsive buying scale. The results showed that the regression coefficient is 149,853 with a significance level of 0.000, so it can be said that self control variable affects the impulsive buying, so the hypothesis is accepted. The R-Square value obtained from the self-control on impulsive buying in students in Malang City is 0.605. This shows the effect of self control on impulsive buying in students in Malang City is 60.5%, while the rest is influenced by other factors not mentioned in this study.
