Abstract

Self-acceptance is a student's willingness to accept themselves which includes their physical, social, personal achievements, psychology, and strengths and weaknesses. Problems of self-acceptance can be experienced by anyone, including students. Problems of self-acceptance may occur if students do not get social support from the surrounding environment. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of social support on students' self-acceptance in Malang City after their parents' divorce. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The population in this study is students who have divorced parents in Malang City. The sample in this study consisted of 100 students using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method uses a Likert scale, namely a social support scale and a self-acceptance scale. Data analysis used simple regression analysis with the help of SPSS for Windows statistical software with a result of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a positive direction of influence of social support on self-acceptance, with a contribution of 0.506
