Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of celebrity worship on the consumptive behaviour of k-pop stuff on k-pop fan students at Merdeka University of Malang. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a subject of 100 students. The data collection method uses a Likert scale, namely the celebrity worship scale made by Hariadi (2022) and the consumptive behaviour scale also made by Hariadi (2022). Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis with the help of apps statistics SPSS for windows v.21. The results of hypothesis testing show a significance result of 0.000>0.05, which means that there is a very significant influence of celebrity worship on the consumptive behaviour of k-pop stuff on k-pop fan students at Merdeka University of Malang with an effective contribution of 75.2% and the remaining 24.8% is influenced by other factors
