Abstract

Outsourcing employees who are also classified as a precarious worker have a higher risk of termination, uncertainty and long working hours. The risks also affecting the service provider and the company. Information obtained from operational manager CV X showed high turnover rates caused by discrepancies between the salaries and those expected by workers, the workers are lacking of persistence and confidence to be able to learn tasks related to the use of cleaning tools and the chemicals, and also the difficulties to adjusting with the difference workplace and clients. This study is a qualitative research using case study as a method. The results of the study describes the four dimensions of psychological capital of the employees in CV X, which are facing different clients is considered a challenging task for them and the ability to learn new tasks (self efficacy), the adaptability and the Islamic religious focused coping mechanism (resilience), interpreting the negative experiences as a learning process (optimism), the expectations of better change for oneself and the company (hope)
