Abstract

Companies find out their employees are happy or not by conducting job satisfaction assessments. Job satisfaction is a pleasant feeling that is the result of an individual's perception in order to complete a task or fulfill his needs to obtain work values that are important to him. The condition of the work environment certainly plays an important role in the good and bad quality of employee performance results. If the work environment is comfortable enough and communication in it runs smoothly, then the resulting performance will certainly be maximized. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between the non-physical work environment and job satisfaction in civil servants in the Regional Revenue Agency of East Kutai Regency. This research is a quantitative research using linear regression method on civil servants of the East Kutai Regional Revenue Agency. The research instruments used are the scale of non-physical work environment and job satisfaction. The number of subjects in this study was 69 civil servants of Bapenda Kutai Timur using nonprobability sampling techniques. The results of this study showed that there was an influence of non-physical work environment of 77.9% on the job satisfaction of civil servants of the East Kutai Regional Revenue Agency
