Abstract

In the increasingly developing digital era, the application of information technology has become a key factor in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of various aspects of human life. One sector that has not been spared from the impact of digital transformation is the healthcare industry, especially in the supply and sale of medicines. Pharmacies, as an important element in the drug distribution chain, have a central role in ensuring the availability of the right medicines to patients. The importance of good management in the pharmacy business is becoming increasingly evident, especially in the face of complex challenges such as increasing demand for drugs, stringent regulations, and the need for data accuracy. In this context, the use of information systems has proven to be an effective solution to overcome various problems faced by pharmacies, particularly in terms of drug sales. This thesis aims to propose a contribution in the development and implementation of drug sales information systems in pharmacies. By utilizing information technology, it is hoped that pharmacies can optimize the process of managing drug inventory, increase efficiency in recording sales transactions, and provide accurate and timely information for decision making.
