Abstract

The study intends to understand the application at information system of management, to know auxiliary factors and inhibitory factors in the application of the information system management. And to find out the increased productivity of worker work on Internal Control in PT. Liputan6. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative study. The informants in the study are employes PT. Liputan6. The data-collection technique used was observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and a deduction. The study shows that the application of management information systems to internal control in liputan6 has been effective. According to the use of websites to disseminate information to communities, it can be faster, economical, and cheaper, which can offset budgetary spending. There are two factors which contribute to the implementation of SIM, whereas the constraints in the application of SIM are the lack of budgets, the lack of aspirations in society and the shortage of skilled resources. In the meantime, the efforts to increase the productivity of labor on internal control in liputan6 are less effective to find some constraints that lack employee motivation, staff lack expertise, low pay and inadequate office facilities.
