Abstract

Operations management is a very important component in production activities. Factors that cause production activities to be hampered include the quality of raw materials, the capacity of the machines used and labour in a company. Previously there has never been research related to the impact of the quality of raw materials, machine capacity and labour on production quality at PT Magnum Attack Indonesia. Therefore this research needs to be carried out at PT Magnum Attack Indonesia. The method used in this study uses a quantitative descriptive method with questionnaire techniques. The questionnaire was filled out by employees of PT Magnum Attack Indonesia. The questionnaire data obtained was then analysed using the data analysis techniques used, namely descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests (normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests), instrument tests (validity tests and reliability tests), regression tests, and hypothesis tests (partial tests, simultaneous tests and R- square tests). The results of the analysis that has been done show that the variable quality of raw materials affects the quality of production, machine capacity has a significant effect on the variable quality of production. In addition, the labour variable also has a significant effect on production quality. Simultaneous test results show that the variable quality of raw materials, machine capacity and labour together have an influence on production quality. The results of the partial test show that the variable quality of raw materials has the most dominant influence on production quality with a value of 34.652. After knowing the results of this study, it is hoped that PT Magnum Attack Indonesia will further improve the quality of raw materials and pay attention to labour by providing a comfortable work environment and atmosphere.
