Abstract
This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of compensation on employee performance PDAM Tugu Tirta Malang City, (2) the effect of workload on employee performance PDAM Tugu Tirta Malang City, (3) the effect of compensation and workload on employee performance PDAM Tugu Tirta Malang City. The population in this study were 267 permanent employees of PDAM Tugu Tirta Malang City. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, the number of samples used is 73 employees. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis includes validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, and t test with the help of calculations through the SPSS version 25 application. The results showed that: (1) compensation partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance of PDAM Tugu Tirta Malang City as evidenced by a significant value of 0.011 < 0.05 with t count of 2.598 > 1.9944 t table, meaning that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) partially workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance of PDAM Tugu Tirta Malang City as evidenced by the significant value of workload of 0.018 < 0.05 with t count of 2.418 > 1.9944 t table, meaning that workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (3) compensation and workload have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PDAM Tugu Tirta Malang City as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 with f count of 12.284 > 3.13 f table, meaning that compensation and workload simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PDAM Tugu Tirta Malang City.
