Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the description of workload, communication and employee performance, to determine and analyze the influence ofworkload and communication simultaneously and partially on the performance of PTemployees. Asal Jaya Dampit-Malang and to find out which workload and communicationvariables have a dominant influence on the performance of PT employees. Origin JayaDampit-Malang. To find out and analyze this influence, research was conducted at PT.Origin Jaya Dampit-Malang using quantitative methods. The population and sample usedare all employees of PT. From Jaya Dampit-Malang, there are 63 people. The techniqueused to determine the sample in this research is the census technique. Data collectionthrough distributing questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS 16.0 with multiplelinear analysis methods. The results of this research show that workload has a coefficient value of 0.613with a significance of 0.001. This shows that if the workload increases, employeeperformance will decrease. Communication has a coefficient value of 0.231 with asignificance of 0.024. This shows that if communication increases, it will also causeemployee performance to increase. Adjust R Square shows a value of 0.484 or 48.4%,this means that 48.4% of employee performance is influenced by workload andcommunication and the remaining 51.6% is explained by other variables not explained inthis research. The conclusion is that employee performance is influenced by workload andcommunication. The independent variable that has a dominant influence on employeeperformance is workload. Therefore, companies need to pay more attention to theworkload given to PT employees. Asal Jaya Dampit-Malang so that there is nocontinuous decline in employee performance
