Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyse the effect of profitability, liquidity and company size on firm value. This research takes objects in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018-2022. The population in this study were 35 food and beverage companies, while the sample was obtained using purposive sampling method based on predetermined criteria, sothat a sample of 21 food and beverage companies was obtained. The dependent variable in this study is firm value, while the independent variables are profitability, liquidity, and company size. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test and the coefficient of determination which is tested using the classical assumption test. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously profitability, liquidity and company size have a significant effect on firm value in food and beverage companies for the period 2018-2022. Partially profitability and liquidity have a significant positive effect on firm value while company size has a significant negative effect on firm value.
