Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of simultaneously and partly the variables ofwork motivation and training on employee performance at the public company JasaTirta 1 Malang. This research is a type of quantitative research. To obtain the datain this study, researchers used primary data through a questionnaire with a total of31 employee respondents who work in general service companies Tirta Malang.The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The analysis used includesvalidity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, hypothesis test anddetermination test. The results of data analysis indicate that there is a simultaneousinfluence of competence and motivation variables on employee performance at thepublic company Jasa Tirta 1 Malang. The workload variable partially has a positiveand insignificant effect on employee performance at the DPRD Secretariat ofNagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The motivational variable partially has apositive and significant effect on employee performance at the public servicecompany Tirta 1 Malang. The variable of work motivation has a dominant effect onemployee performance at the general company Jasa Tirta 1 Malang
