Abstract

Work stress is a reference to see the level of employee performance in carryingout their work. Work stress experienced by employees can be caused by the workenvironment, leadership, workload, and work conflicts that occur within the company. Thiscondition is often faced by employees in the company. This research aims to determine theeffect that occurs due to work stress using work environment variables, leadership,workload, and work stress. The population used in this research is the Gatra Mapancompany engaged in the furniture sector. The sampling method in this research was usinga purposive sampling method and obtaining a sample of 70 employees. The type of datainformation used in this research is primary data. The source of data information on thiscompany comes from company data and questionnaires filled in by employees of PT. GatraMapan. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis to examine the influence ofwork environment, leadership, workload, and work conflict. The results of this researchshow that the work environment, leadership, workload, and work conflict simultaneouslyhave a positive effect on work stress. Conversely, partially, leadership is not significant towork stress
