Abstract

This study aims to find out how work experience and compensation affect theperformance of employees at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Branch OfficeMartadinata Malang. Through observation and questionnaires, researchers were able toobtain primary and secondary data for this study. In other words, researchers usequestionnaires to conduct research and collect data. The number of samples at PT. BankRakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Branch Office Martadinata Malang as many as 45research respondents. Multiple linear regression test, validity test, reliability test, classicassumption test, F test (F-test), t test (t-test), coefficient of determination test (R2) anddominance effect test are the data analysis techniques used. The partial test revealedthat the work experience variable has a positive and not significant effect on employeeperformance. Meanwhile, the compensation variable has a positive and significant impacton employee performance at Pt. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Branch OfficeMartadinata Malang. From the results of simultaneous analysis, work experience andcompensation variables affect employee performance variables at Pt. Bank RakyatIndonesia (Persero) Tbk. Branch Office Martadinata Malang. The domination effect testshows that the compensation variable has more influence on employee performance.This illustrates the key elements that can improve employee performance at PT. BankRakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Martadinata Malang Branch Office is compensation
