Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of work motivation on employee performance; (2) the effect of work discipline on employee performance; (3) the influence of work motivation and work discipline together on employee performance at the Bank BRI Malang Martadinata Branch Office. This research is an explanatory research with a quantitative apboach. The subjects of this study consisted of 45 employees of Bank BRI Malang Martadinata Branch. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews and documentation. From the results of the study, it shows that there is a direct significant influence of the work motivation variable (X1) on employee performance (Y) at Bank BRI Malang Martadinata Branch of 1,659 with a significant value of 0.105, and the Work Discipline Variable has a significant effect on employee performance at Bank BRI Malang Martadinata Branch of 4,907 with a significant value of 0.000, and also the variables Work motivation and Work discipline together (simultaneously) affect The performance of employees at Bank BRI Malang Martadinata Branch was 31,772 with a significant value of 0.000. So it can be concluded that the results of the study show that the variables of Work Motivation and Work Discipline have a significant effect both partially and simultaneously on employee performance at Bank BRI Malang Martadinata Branch.
