Abstract

In a company or organization, there are several important things that can help improve employee performance such as work life balance and compensation. With the increase in employee performance, it will be easier to achieve the company's goals. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work life balance and compensation on employee performance at KUD Tani Bahagia Mojokerto. The number of samples used was 48 employees using saturated sample technique, data collection techniques using questionnaires, while data analysis techniques were processed using SPSS 25. This analysis includes validity test, reliability test, multicollinearity test, multiple linear regression analysis, F test and t test.
The multiple linear regression equation results in Y = 17.512 + 1.014 (X1) + 0.210 (X2) + e. The results of this study indicate that the work life balance and compensation variables simultaneously and affect employee performance and the value of Fcount> Ftabel (13.032> 3.209). The result of the coefficient value (Adjusted R Square) of 0.399 which shows that the work life balance and compensation variables are able to contribute 33.9% and 66.1% is influenced by other variables outside the research variables. The dominant influential variable is the work life balance variable with a tcount> ttable value (5.102> 2.014), while the compensation variable has a positive and significant effect with a tcount> ttable value (2.333> 2.014).
Based on the results of data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the work life balance and compensation variables together have a significant effect and have a positive influence on employee performance variables. For the most dominant variable affecting employee performance at KUD Tani Bahagia Mojokerto is the variable work life balance.
