Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe employee performance, teamwork and communication, describe and analyze the simultaneous and partial effects of teamwork and communication on employee performance, the more dominant influence between teamwork and communication on the performance of Malang City Environmental Service employees. To analyze and find out the effect, it is necessary to do research at the Malang City Environmental Service. The method used in this study is quantitative. The population in the study was the ASN environmental service of the wretched city of 740. The technique used to determine samples in this study is the simple random sampling which is the random sample drag technique in the population. A sample of 160 respondents based on the slovin formula by a 7% margin. Data collection techniques through observation and dissemination of questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25 with multiple linear regression analysis models.
Research shows that coefficient cooperation has a 0.557 value of 0,000. This suggests that when teamwork is increased, it will be followed by increased employee performance in the unfortunate city environment service. Communication had a coefficient value of 0.175 with a significance of 0.002. This suggests that the better the communication of employees the better the performance of employees. Based on a variable r square showing 0.354 or 35.4 percent, it would mean that 35.4% of employees' performance is affected by teamwork and communication, the remaining 64.4% is explained by other variables which are not described in the study.
The conclusion is that employees' performance is influenced by teamwork and communication. The dominant factor in an employee's performance is teamwork. Therefore, it is hoped that the management will need to improve team cooperation with organizations or companies, as the more cooperation they provide, the more workers will improve.
