Abstract

In a company there are two important things that can help to improve employee performance such as Communication and Competence. Within creasing employee performance, it will be easier to achieve the expected company goals. The purpose of this study was to describe the variables of communication and competence, to analyze the simultaneous and partial influence on the performance of Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan Malang Regency employees, and to analyze communication and competence which have a dominant influence on the performance of Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan Malang Regency employees.
The sampling technique use dissaturated sampling. The number of samples used were 51 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire which is distributed in directly through the Google form. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques were processed using SPSS 25. This analysis included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, F tests and T tests.
The data obtained in this study is primary data. The type of data used is quantitative data. The data obtained will be analyzed using the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis model. Before the data is analyzed, the first step is to look at valid and reliable data obtained by conducting a Validity Test and Reliability Test.
The results of this study prove that communication has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan Malang Regency, competence has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan Malang Regency, independent variables (communication and competence) have an effect on the dependent variable (employee performance) in Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan Malang Regency, competency variable has a dominant effect on employee performance at Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan Malang Regency.
