Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of capital structure (debt to equity ratio (DER)), liquidity (current ratio (CR)), and asset growth (growth) on profitability (return on assets (ROA)) of listed automotive industry companies. on the IDX for the period 2016-2020. Sampling used a porpusive sampling technique and as many as 12 automotive industry companies were sampled in this study. Data processing used the product and service solutions (SPSS 18.00) statistical program. The results showed that simultaneously capital structure, liquidity and assets have a significant effect on profitability Partially, the capital structure variable has a negative and insignificant effect on profitability, the liquidity variable has a positive and significant effect on profitability, and the asset growth variable has a negative and significant effect on profitability.
